This was a commission. This is a 3.5" figure (used to be a Twilight!). I am definitely no seamstress, I know her outfit needs work, but I'm very pleased with how the figure itself turned out!

how much are these?

Hi - for this figure with a (hopefully improved) cape and hat, it'd be $40.

Very nice! I think the mare looks more like Twilight than Trixie but lovely.

The outfit came out better than most. I'd be willing to give you some advice on that. IM me if you're interested.

Yeah, it's the mane style >_< very clearly a Twilight base. I didn't want to add onto the mane with clay/epoxy because it's a toy for a child, not just a decorative figure, and I don't know how clay stands up to rough play yet. I should test that.

I would be glad for some advice! I'll shoot you a PM here when I have more time, I'm packing for a trip at the moment. >_<

Aah. Polyclay doesn't hold up well to rough treatment. Even super strong clay is pretty porous and fragile compared to the vinyls toys are made of. Epoxy can be too hard and stiff and separate from the pony. I've been messing with that trying to sculpt custom ears to turn Sweetie Belle into an OC filly.

I'm not sure how well the style of hat I made would fit with that solid hair but it's not too hard to do.

Ooh. Is there anything you've found that can coat it and make it stronger? I've been using superglue, which works great on smaller pieces (like, completely coating the clay) but for bigger ponies it's impractical.
